We are looking for experienced Network Support Engineer for several locations in Germany. 1 -2 year experience of providing network support and or field support is required. Candidates must be willing to work as independent service providers or as freelancers.

Scope of Work

Provide Network Support services covering Cisco Systems and Enterasys equipment deployed on client sites in Germany,

• Locate the correct reported faulty part / material onsite
• Contact Customer (onsite contact or the call owner)
• Dismount faulty device
• Prepare replacement device / material
• Load requested IOS on device, according to the specification of the kit list
• (If applicable)
• Mount / Unmount devices into rack
• Connect power cable and power on the devices
• Ethernet cables and optical fiber cables layout
• Patch uplinks cables and userports
• Test equipment for connectivity with the customer
• Place Faulty equipment in original packaging ready for collection from the nominated site point
• Level 1 Troubleshooting on site and coordination with Level 2 / Level 3 remote or backoffice teams for level 2 troubleshooting

Locations :

Several locations all over Germany

Compensation:

First 2 hours: € 40 per hour

After first 2 hours: € 30 per hour

Out of Business hours uplift: 15%

Weekend hours uplift: 25%
